Learn about Lucinda Bowman, the Founder of Visualize Success ADHD, and how she got here.

I’m a speech-language pathologist with over 30 years of experience, turned ADHD & Executive Function coach for kids, college students, and parents who are overwhelmed and tired of feeling stuck.

I help families go from daily chaos—missed assignments, constant reminders, emotional burnout—to more calm, clarity, and follow-through using a practical, step-by-step approach that actually works in real life.

But this isn’t just professional for me—it’s deeply personal.

My Story

When my son was just 3 years old, he was asked to leave his first preschool. Then another. And another. By the time he was finally diagnosed with ADHD, he had been asked to leave five preschools.

We tried everything—medication, counseling, occupational therapy, social skills groups. Like so many parents, I was doing everything I could… and still felt like nothing was truly helping.

Then, in the middle of trying to support my son, something unexpected happened.

At age 47, I was diagnosed with ADHD myself.

It was shocking—but also an enormous relief. For the first time, things made sense. I realized I hadn’t been “missing something” all those years—my brain simply worked differently. And somehow, despite working closely with students with ADHD throughout my career, no one had ever suggested I might have it too.

That moment changed everything.

I became determined to find the kind of support I couldn’t find for my son. But like many families, I ran into long waitlists, limited access, and professionals who weren’t taking new clients.

So I decided to become the resource I had been searching for.

I immersed myself in learning everything I could about ADHD and executive function, and went on to train through the International ADHD Coach Training Center (IACT), where I completed my ADHD Life Coach certification in 2019.

Today, I combine:

  • 30+ years as an SLP

  • Specialized ADHD and Executive Function coach training

  • Lived experience as both an ADHD parent and an adult with ADHD

I support families in a way that is practical, compassionate, and grounded in real life—not just theory.

Because I’ve been on both sides.

I know what it’s like to:

  • Feel exhausted from constant reminders

  • Wonder why nothing seems to “stick”

  • Worry about your child’s independence and future

And I also know what actually helps.

That’s why my coaching focuses on building systems, skills, and strategies that reduce stress, increase independence, and help things finally start to click.

You don’t have to keep doing this the hard way.
